Malaysia Airlines has cancelled its flights between Kuala Lumpur and Taipei scheduled for tomorrow, 11 July, as Typhoon Bavi approaches Taiwan
In a statement issued today, 10 July, the airline said the decision was made due to adverse weather conditions.
The affected flights are:
– MH367 (Taipei–Kuala Lumpur)
– MH366 (Kuala Lumpur–Taipei)
Passengers affected by the cancellations may rebook their flights within 30 days at no additional cost or opt for a full refund.
The airline also advised travellers to ensure their contact details are up to date under 'My Booking' on the Malaysia Airlines website or mobile app so they can receive the latest flight updates.

Airlines have cancelled dozens of flights across the region, including in the Philippines, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Japan, as Typhoon Bavi continues its path towards East Asia
The storm, which formed over the western Pacific Ocean, made landfall on the Northern Mariana island of Rota earlier this week with sustained winds of up to 200km/h before moving into the Philippine Sea.
It is now tracking towards Taiwan and China's eastern coast.
According to VNExpress, the typhoon has already claimed at least five lives after triggering a landslide in the Philippines, while hundreds of residents in Taiwan have been evacuated from their homes ahead of its arrival.
