Hayden managed to close the gap to the pack in front, executing a well-planned strategy to secure the lead and cross the chequered flag.

Reflecting on this monumental achievement, team principal Sanjay Pattis expressed his gratitude to the team.

"This victory is a testament to the unwavering dedication and tireless efforts of everyone involved in our team. It's truly a phenomenal achievement considering our relatively recent formation," said Pattis.

Pattis also emphasised the strategic partnership between Racing Aurora and Mercedes-AMG, highlighting the pivotal role of Peter Hackett, an official AMG driver and AMG chief instructor for Asia Pacific. Hackett's expertise has been crucial in mentoring young talents like 20-year-old Hayden, further strengthening the team's competitive edge and fostering the next generation of racing talent.

"The collaboration between Hackett and Hayden underscores our commitment to developing emerging talents and pushing the boundaries of motorsport excellence," stated Pattis.
