"We Can Carpool!" – Malaysians Are Offering To Pick Stranded LRT Users As Trains Are Down
By the rakyat, for the rakyat.
16 stations along the Kelana Jaya LRT line have been shut down, and will remain out of operation for seven days, from 9 to 15 November
The announcement comes from Malaysia's most popular mass transportation system, Rapid KL. Taking to their Facebook page, the operation noted that the 16 stations include the stops between Kelana Jaya and Ampang Park.
A complete list of the suspended train stations are below:
Nonetheless, it was reinforced that the rest of the stations on the Kelana Jaya LRT rail will remain in operation, though services will conclude at an earlier time period of 11pm.
These stations include stops between Putra Heights to Lembah Subang, and Damai to Gombak.
Leaving hundreds of Malaysians stranded, multiple avenues have opened their doors (and their cars) to help those in need
In a collaborative effort, local radio stations Fly FM, Buletin FM, and Hot FM released similar statements to their Twitter pages, detailing their attempt to help transport individuals to the Bangsar or Pasar Seni stops.
"Fly FM team will be at Kelana Jaya LRT station tomorrow at 7.30am. Our team will be able to get you into Bangsar or Pasar Seni. Seats are limited. Remember to look out for Fly FM's car!" the statement by Fly FM wrote.
Updating the public on their efforts, the transporters have shared the help being offered on their social media pages
In an effort to go that extra mile, drivers even helped drop off a few people directly to KLCC.

- CH02: Ara Damansara to LRT Kelana Jaya.
