Abang Bomba Praised For Risking Their Lives To Put Out Pasir Gudang Factory Fire

Not all heroes wear capes. Some of them wear orange fireproof suits.
In the wee hours of the morning on Sunday, 1 March, a recycling plant in Pasir Gudang, Johor Bahru caught on fire.
According to Harian Metro, Johor Fire and Rescue Department's Zone 1 chief Mohamad Faizul Selamat received a call at about 5.37am.
40 firemen were immediately sent to the scene to help put out the blaze
The firemen came from fire and rescue stations in Pasir Gudang, Johor Jaya, Tebrau, Larkin, Penawar, and Fire Post Kempas.
They worked through the morning until the fire was finally extinguished at about 12.30pm.The Edge reported that the incident was believed to have been caused by combustible waste in the factory.
Following the incident, Malaysians have been commending the abang-abang bomba for their hard work and sacrifice
A Facebook post by Skudai Fire and Rescue Department has received over 2,300 shares, as many praised the team involved.
