Man And Teen In Alor Setar Die After Car From Opposite Direction Crashes Into Them
During the incident, the two were on a motorcycle moving straight on their lane when a car from the opposite direction suddenly came in their way.
A man and a teenager in Alor Setar died in a tragic accident last night, 16 June
According to Harian Metro, the incident took place at 8.05pm near a gas station in Batu 6, Simpang Empat.
The victims have been identified as 24-year-old Muhamad Amirul Abdul Majid and 15-year-old Muhammad Luthfan Asri.

Kota Setar district police chief ACP Ahmad Shukri Mat Akhir told the Malay daily, "The car driver, 20-year-old Muhammad Aniq Shafiq Anuar, is believed to have lost control of the vehicle and entered the lane in front of the motorcycle, causing a head-on collision between the two vehicles."
"As a result, the two on the motorcycle died at the scene," he added.
Meanwhile, the three individuals who were in the car sustained several injuries
Ahmad Shukri said that the car driver, who is also a student, sustained injuries to his eyes, face, and hands.
Meanwhile, the two other passengers sustained injuries to their hands and knees.
"The case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 and the car has been seized for further checks," he explained.
