"About 2km from the exit towards the Felda Semenchu main road, the victim crashed into a cow that was crossing the road," Hussin explained.

"He then fell and was sprawled on the ground while his motorcycle skidded to the side of the road."

After that, a 19-year-old driving a Proton Wira from the opposite lane hit the victim and dragged his body as far as 60m.

Meanwhile, the driver of the Proton Wira escaped with no injuries.

The body has been taken to Kota Tinggi Hospital for further action and the case is being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987.

While speaking to Berita Harian, Hussin said, "Road users are advised to always be careful while driving, especially in dark areas, in order to avoid accidents as danger is unpredictable. Be mindful drivers and the safety of road users is everyone's responsibility."
