Man In Shah Alam Stabs Friend To Death For Drinking His Orange Juice While Breaking Fast
The victim and the suspect, both factory workers, had been living together.
A man in Shah Alam stabbed his colleague to death for drinking his orange juice just as they were breaking fast yesterday, 19 March
Shah Alam district police chief ACP Mohd Iqbal Ibrahim said the police received a report about the incident at 7.20pm at a workers' hostel of a factory in Section 36, Shah Alam, reported the New Straits Times.
According to Mohd Iqbal, during the incident, the 51-year-old suspect became angry when the 49-year-old victim drank the suspect's orange juice while the duo were breaking fast, reported Berita Harian.
Investigations revealed that the victim and the suspect lived together
The victim was a Bangladeshi national, working as a general labourer, while the suspect is a Pakistani national, who has since been arrested.
Mohd Iqbal said that the suspect stabbed the victim multiple times with a kitchen knife.
Investigations are being carried out under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
