"Looks Like Final Destination" – Metal Rod Falls Off Lorry & Pierces Car's Passenger Seat
The driver said that she thought she was going to die as the metal rod flew towards her car.

A video of a metal rod falling off of a lorry and hitting a car recently went viral on social media
In the 17-second clip, the lorry can be seen driving on a busy highway before a metal rod suddenly flies off from the back of its cargo and hits a car behind it.
The victim, Cass, later shared videos and photos of the incident's aftermath on social media in the hopes of raising awareness among other drivers.
Cass said that she thought she was going to die as the metal rod flew towards her car
"It looks like the Final Destination movie, but it is not. I thought that my dogs and I were going to die," said the victim.
The metal rod had pierced through the car's front passenger seat, but fortunately, no one was injured as the seat was empty at the time of the incident.
"Luckily I was driving slowly on the PLUS highway. I hope the Road Transport Department (JPJ) and Anthony Loke see this and implement strict regulations regarding truck accidents," Cass added.
Malaysians were horrified by the footage of the incident and were outraged by the driver of the lorry
One user commented that better law enforcement is needed to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future. They also proposed that heavy vehicles be prohibited from driving on the road during the holiday season.
Disagreeing with Cass, another commented that the incident resembled a horrible fate out of the Final Destination movie.
"Luckily no one was sitting in the passenger's seat. What if the driver's seat was on the left?" the user asked.
"Drunk drivers used to cause traffic accidents. However, truck drivers are now causing more incidents," wrote one Twitter user.
