METMalaysia Warns Of Thunderstorms Nationwide From 27 To 30 August
The department said the thunderstorms are expected to occur in the evenings.

The Malaysian Meteorological Department (METMalaysia) has issued a thunderstorm and heavy rain warning for the weekend, from 27 August to 30 August, especially in the evenings
In a statement on Wednesday, 24 August, METMalaysia said the country is expected to experience weak directional winds, which are conducive to the formation of thunderstorm clouds, especially in the evenings to early at night.
The bad weather, including thunderstorms, heavy rainfall, and strong winds, is expected to occur nationwide
The department said among the affected areas are the states on the west coast, as well as the interior of the Peninsular, the central and north parts of Sarawak, western Sabah, and Labuan.
METMalaysia also urged the public to always refer to its website and social media for the latest information on the weather.
