Miri Mother Lodges Police Report Against Husband After He Sexually Abused Their Daughters
The 51-year-old unemployed man has since been arrested by the police.
A 51-year-old man in Miri, Sarawak has been arrested for alleged sexual abuse of his two daughters
The Borneo Post reported that the man has been ordered to be remanded for six days since yesterday, 9 May by the Miri Magistrates Court.
The remand application was filed by investigating officer Inspector Clarrisa Carol from the Miri Central police station.

According to Utusan Borneo, the man had acted indecently towards his daughters on more than one occasion.
The abuse came to light on Tuesday, 7 May, after the man's eldest daughter called his 48-year-old wife about his antics.
The mother, who works as a cleaner, was told that her husband was performing lewd acts towards her daughters.
She was not aware of the abuse before being told by her eldest daughter.
The mother then lodged a police report against the man on the same day
The Borneo Post reported that the 48-year-old lodged the report at the Lutong police station.
At 11.15pm on Tuesday, the 51-year-old man was arrested at his home in Tudan Phase 1, Miri.
He is being investigated under Section 14 of the Sexual Offences Against Children Act 2017.
