A 46-year-old woman and her two daughters, aged 12 and 14, were found dead at their home in Bandar Baru Tambun, Ipoh, Perak, on Thursday night, 30 July
According to China Press, neighbours became concerned after noticing that no one had left the house throughout the day and contacted the woman's husband.
The husband then asked his sister-in-law, who lives in Ipoh, to check on the family. She entered the house through an unlocked back door and found her younger sister and two nieces lying unconscious in a bedroom.
Paramedics later arrived at the scene and confirmed that all three had died.

Ipoh police chief ACP Muhammad Najib Hamzah said police received a report about the discovery at around 9.10pm
He said preliminary examinations by the police forensic team and a forensic medical specialist found no signs of external injuries or foul play on the victims.
Police also found a container believed to contain the remains of burnt charcoal inside the room.
"The case has been classified as a sudden death report," he said in a statement today, 31 July.
The bodies have been sent for post-mortem examinations to determine the cause of death.
Najib said investigations are ongoing to establish the exact circumstances surrounding the deaths and urged the public not to speculate or spread unverified information while the investigation is underway.
