A housewife from Perak has struck the Toto 4D Jackpot twice in three years, with her latest win in the 1 August draw earning her RM12,946,225.55
According to the New Straits Times, the 50-year-old lucky punter and her husband have been buying lottery tickets over the past three years after losing their jobs during the Movement Control Order (MCO) period.
In 2023, she won RM1.4 million with a Lucky Pick ticket.
Her latest RM12.9 million windfall brings her total earnings to about RM14.3 million.
Her winning numbers, 5900 and 6900, were drawn under Draw No. 6165/26 on Saturday.
"At first, I thought we had read the numbers wrongly because it seemed impossible.
"Winning the jackpot once was already a blessing, but winning it for the second time is beyond anything I could have imagined," she said when collecting her winnings at the STM Lottery Sdn Bhd headquarters.
She plans to use the prize money to fund her retirement while donating a portion to underprivileged communities and charitable causes
"We have experienced difficult times ourselves, so we understand how much a helping hand can mean.
"I hope this blessing will allow us to give back and make a positive difference," she said.
