Police Close Jalan Bangsar Due To Body Found In The Middle Of The Road

In the meantime, road users are advised to use alternative routes to avoid congestion.

Police have closed a part of Jalan Bangsar, Kuala Lumpur following the discovery of a body believed to be a murder victim in the middle of the road this morning, 19 November

According to Harian Metro, the route from KL Sentral to Abdullah Hukum was closed to help the police conduct an investigation at the scene.

Kuala Lumpur City Hall (DBKL) announced the closure of the road on its official Twitter account at 7.20am this morning

Berita Harian reported that the Kuala Lumpur Criminal Investigation Department (CID) head SAC Nik Ros Azhan Nik Ab Hamid confirmed that the forensic team is already conducting an investigation into the murder case.

"Investigations are still ongoing and further developments will be announced later," he said when contacted today.

In the meantime, road users are advised to use alternative routes to avoid congestion

According to a Facebook user, the road from KL Sentral has be diverted to Jalan Maarof for the time being.

An alternative route would be to use Jalan Tun Sambathan to Jalan Syed Putra to reach the New Pantai Expressway (NPE) from the Federal Highway.
