Pregnant Cat Rescued From The Tragic Chatuchak Fire That Killed More Than 1,000 Pets

A cat has miraculously survived the recent tragic fire in Chatuchak, Bangkok, which burned more than 1,000 pets alive
The feline was severely dehydrated, having suffered from smoke inhalation, with blisters on its paws and a burn on its right hind leg.
It was immediately brought to the veterinary hospital where X-ray examinations revealed that she was one-month pregnant, carrying three kittens in her womb.
Facebook user Clouseau Puttiporn shared a one-minute clip of a man rescuing the cat, which was found on the rooftop of one of the affected shops at the market.
Using a stick with a rope, Suchat Petchthai safely brought the cat down within seconds and placed it in a cage.
The cat was then transported to TH Animal Hospital, where it is receiving treatment.
Aside from the burns, the feline was diagnosed with lung pneumonia due to smoke inhalation
Her wounds have been cleaned and she is currently recovering. Stay strong, kitty!
