Resorts World Genting To Set New Record For Largest Gathering Of Lambourghinis In Malaysia
The record to beat is 112 Lamborghinis!
Resorts World Genting (RWG) and supercars club, Lamborghini Owners Malaysia (LOM), have announced that they will attempt to set a new record for the largest gathering of Lamborghinis in Malaysia
RWG and LOM aim to have at least 130 "Stampeding Bulls" gathered in front of Highlands Hotel, Resorts World Genting from 10.38am till 12.38pm on 1 March, to make it into the Malaysia Book of Records.
This extraordinary feat, if achieved, will likely set a new record for the largest gathering of Lamborghinis at a high altitude of 6,000 feet above sea level.
The record for the largest gathering of the supercars is currently held by LOM, when they had 112 Lamborghinis assembled at the KLCC open-air car park on 11 June 2022.
"We are extremely thrilled to partake in this great history-in-the-making effort with LOM," said Winnie Lim, Vice President of Resorts World Genting
"As a pioneering and progressive Malaysian leisure and hospitality icon, we mirror our partners' excitement and relentless pursuit of extraordinary achievements," Lim added.
Roslan Rosdi, President of Lamborghini Owners Malaysia, remarked that LOM is confident in pulling off this feat as they already have more than the previous record-breaking number of cars registered for this Bull Run.
"LOM's latest record-breaking endeavour reflects the Italian luxury carmaker's world class mindset and indomitable spirit. The largest gathering of Lamborghinis at Resorts World Genting echoes our constant drive to push boundaries and an unwavering commitment to raise the bar," said Dato' Rakesh Sachdev, LOM Organising Chairman.
Founded in 2014, LOM currently has 210 members.
During the media session, attendees had the opportunity to view an impressive display of 10 rare and vintage Lamborghini models
The supercars included the limited edition Murcielago, the Huracan Spyder, the Aventador SVJ, and the Urus SUV.
RWG will be hosting a gala dinner, known as The Bulls Night, at Genting International Convention Centre on 1 March, featuring dance performances by Istana Budaya, jewellery fashion shows, and performances by renowned singer, Datuk Zainal Abidin.
