1. "Around RM2,000"
"My wife and I take ang pow money from our joint account, and we try to pack extra every year, just in case. We usually end up with extra ang pow that we don't give out, and this becomes our cash stash (like free money). This year, we ended up giving out all the ang pows though. Sad."

"I think my case is a bit different from other people. I will spare my dad RM1,000 to pack ang pow for his children and grandchildren, as well as giving him an ang pow to keep for himself. Then from me, I'll give out around RM1,500. Only on RM100, RM50, RM20, RM10, and RM5 notes."
