BREAKING: Rosmah Mansor Has Been Arrested By MACC

She will reportedly be charged for money laundering tomorrow, 4 October.

Datin Seri Rosmah Mansor, wife of former prime minister Datuk Seri Najib Razak, was arrested by the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission (MACC) today, 3 October

According to The Star, she was arrested at 3.20pm after giving her statement to MACC over investigations into SRC International Sdn Bhd, a former 1Malaysia Development Berhad (1MDB) subsidiary.

The former first lady will reportedly be charged for money laundering tomorrow, 4 October.

She was questioned by MACC investigators over the probe for the first time on 5 June.

On 26 September, Rosmah was questioned by investigators over her alleged role in the 1MDB scandal for 13 hours, The Star reported.

Earlier today, her husband Najib left the Bukit Aman Commercial Crime Investigation Department (CCID) after three hours of questioning

His interrogation took place from 10am until 1pm, Free Malaysia Today reported.

The former premier currently faces a total of 32 charges for criminal breach of trust, abuse of power, and money laundering-related offences linked to 1MDB and SRC International.
