[UPDATED] Over 1,133 Areas In Klang Valley Are Facing Temporary Water Cuts
All three Sungai Selangor Water Treatment Plants have been shut down.

[UPDATED] Over 1,133 areas have been affected by sudden SYABAS water cuts today, 19 July
The notice was posted on Air Selangor's website.
"Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor (SYABAS) would like to inform that all three Sungai Selangor Phase 1, 2, and 3 Water Treatment Plants have been forced to stop operations due to odour pollution at the Sungai Selangor water source," the notice read.
In a press release, Syarikat Bekalan Air Selangor shared that over 1,166,842 customers have been affected by the unscheduled water cuts.
"These areas [...] are expected to experience water disruptions and low water pressure. Our staff are working to update with a list of affected areas," Syabas said in the earlier notice.
Earlier this week, Syabas had announced that a scheduled water disruption will take place from Tuesday, 23 July to Thursday, 25 July
The disruption has been scheduled to carry out improvement works at the Sungai Selangor Phase 1 Water Treatment Plant.
