PSA: Stop Smashing People's Faces Into Cake, You Can Seriously Injure Them

Smashing people's faces into cakes is all fun and games...
...until you realise that your friend/sibling has been knocked out cold:
The clip is old but it highlights the dangers of smashing someone's face into a birthday cake. The girl, who was celebrating her 16th birthday, became unconscious after her head hit the table.
The girl survived. She was lucky. You might not be.
As this viral Facebook post, that was uploaded on 24 September, shows how multi-layered birthday cakes these days are built: Wooden spikes embedded in the cake to hold its different pieces together.
In the Facebook post, the uploader hoped that the image will make people think twice before smashing someone's face into a cake
The uploader's word of caution has grabbed people's attention going by the virality of the post.
At the time of writing this story, the three-day-old Facebook post has been shared more than 100,000 times with over 28,000 reactions and thousands of comments from shocked people.
"Stick or no-stick, just don't do it," commented a Facebook user.
While another remarked that some "traditions" should end.
