[VIDEO] Freak Storm Leads To Destruction Of 15 Cars At Teluk Intan Hospital Parking Lot

The police assured that there were no casualties in the incident.

A storm lead to the damage of a total of 15 cars at the Teluk Intan Hospital parking area yesterday, 29 April

The roof of a pedestrian walkway outside the hospital crashed on the vehicles during a rainstorm yesterday afternoon, reported Bernama.

Hilir Perak district police chief ACP Ahmad Adnan Basri said that there were no casualties in the incident.

Ahmad Adnan said in a statement yesterday that the cars suffered broken windscreens and dented bonnets.

"The 30m roof was blown away by the storm. The Teluk Intan Hospital has taken action to clean up the parking area," he added.

According to Suara Perak, a police report has been made by one of the car's owners for the hospital's reference and for insurance.

A video and photographs of the damage have since gone viral on social media

In a 10-second long video, metal and ceramic debris can be seen crushing a row of parked vehicles.

A medical officer can be seen taking photos of the damage sustained by both the vehicles and the hospital.
