Dashboard footage showing a traffic policeman on a motorcycle crashing into a car after the driver suddenly changed lanes has gone viral
The impact of the crash threw the traffic policeman off his motorcycle.
According to the footage, the cop, who was en route to work, was riding his motorcycle on the left lane when a Honda City, appearing from the middle lane on the right, abruptly cut into the left lane.
Although the car driver was using the turn signal, the suddenness of the lane change led the officer to collide with the back of the Honda City, causing his motorcycle to spin multiple times.
The traffic policeman did not sustain any serious injuries in the crash, which took place at 10.25am on Sunday, 25 August, in Cheras
Kuala Lumpur Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Department ACP Mohd Zamzuri Mohd Isa, while confirming the incident, said that both the car driver and the officer have filed reports at the police station.
