A video showing the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) going on an intense car chase of a suspect in Subang, Selangor recently went viral
In the video posted on TikTok, a fleet of police cars and motorcycles are seen chasing a grey Proton Wira and cornering it to the side of a road.
With no where else to go, the suspect jumps out of his car and attempts to flee on foot. The police officers then rush out of their vehicles and chase him across a busy street.
At the end, the officers are seen apprehending a man and placing him into a police car.
The video has garnered over 260,000 likes and four million views, with netizens praising the police officers for doing a good job

Meanwhile, others praised the TikTok user who posted the video for his complete recording, with netizens likening the chase to shows and video games, such as Gerak Khas and Grand Theft Auto.
"The video quality is like watching a movie. The beginning and ending in one video. Good job, brother. Malaysians need more cameramen like you," said a netizen.
The police said in a statement later that the incident occurred on Saturday, 2 April, around 5.30pm in Bandar Pinggiran Subang
According to Bernama, Petaling Jaya district deputy police chief Supt Ku Mashariman Ku Mahmood said they gave chase after the suspect attempted to run over patrol officers who tried to flag him down to inspect his car.
The police fired a shot at the tyre of the suspect's car when he tried to ram them, but he still managed to speed off.
This led to a 30-minute chase that was partly caught on the viral video.
Ku Mashariman said the 40-year-old foreign national suspect will be in remand for four days
They have also seized his car and noted that the suspect did not have any valid identifications or travel documents.
The man is being investigated for attempted murder and defying police orders.
