[VIDEO] Man Who Frequently Feeds Stray Cats In PJ Receives Praise From Netizens

Update: Medaline Chang, MBPJ councillor for Seksyen 16 and 17, reached out to SAYS on the topic. According to Chang, the person is not homeless and lives in Seksyen 17 with his parents.
A video showing a man in ragged clothes feeding stray cats has moved thousands of netizens' hearts because of the man's selflessness
The video was taken by a delivery rider, who came across the man while he was at work.
The incident was believed to have taken place near the Shell petrol station in Seksyen 17, Petaling Jaya last week.
In the 42-second long video, the rider asks the man whether he has eaten, to which he answered yes.
"Do you always feed these cats in this area?" the rider inquires.
"Yes," the man replies, adding, "There used to be more cats, but now, there are only these two left."
In the video, the man can be seen taking a seat by a drain after offering a container of food to the two oyens
One of the cats can be seen busily eating, while the other can be seen approaching the man as if it was asking him to pet it.
In an update after this story was published, MBPJ councillor for Seksyen 16 and 17 Medaline Chang told SAYS that the man is not homeless and that he lives in Seksyen 17 with his parents.
At the time of writing, the video that was re-uploaded by a Facebook page has garnered over 18,000 likes and 1,600 shares
Hundreds of netizens lauded the man's selflessness and care for the stray animals.
"This is the best! May Allah protect his creations from all dangers and give them sustenance," a Facebook user commented.
"You are so good-hearted, o' mankind," said a netizen.
"(He's) full of teaching and conviction. It turns out that he is nobler than some of us! This is shameful," added a person.
"I always see him. The first thing he does, he feeds the cats before he eats. It's near the Shell (petrol station) in Seksyen 17, Petaling Jaya," a netizen said.
