Police Looking For Man Who Slapped His Wife At Sepang Shopping Mall

Police are searching for a man who was caught on video slapping his wife at a shopping mall in Kota Warisan, Sepang
The 29-second video, which has been widely circulated on social media, shows the woman approaching the mall's exit when the man, accompanied by a child, walks up to her and slaps her across the face.
He can be seen shouting at her before they leave the premises together.
Sepang district police chief ACP Norhizam Bahaman has confirmed receiving a police report lodged by the victim's sister
According to Harian Metro, Norhizam said the complainant confirmed that the woman assaulted in the video is her 35-year-old elder sister.
"Meanwhile, the man who hit the victim is a local in his 50s, and is the woman's husband," he said in a statement today, 27 January.
The police are in the process of recording witness statements regarding the incident, and are actively locating the suspect and the victim
The case is being investigated under Section 323 of the Penal Code and Section 18 of the Domestic Violence Act 1994.
