The reason behind the man's bad temper was that his flight had been cancelled due to bad weather. However, the airline had promised to compensate him and also provide accommodation.

According to a report in Daily Mail, the airline arranged accommodation for the man and his family for the night and offered 400 yuan (RM240) as compensation.

The man and his family were then arranged by the airline company to board the same flight the next day. However, he returned to the airport the next morning and started arguing with the airline worker at the counter.

While asking to board an earlier flight, the man starts pointing his finger at the staff angrily before suddenly slapping him with his iPhone 6 Plus.
