28 Areas In Klang Valley Still Facing Water Supply Disruption Despite Fixed Burst Pipe

As of 7am today, 27 May, 28 areas in the Klang Valley are still experiencing water disruptions as efforts continue to restore supply following a burst pipe in Shah Alam

According to the latest statement by Air Selangor, repair works on the burst pipe at Jalan Budiman, Section 22, Shah Alam, were completed at 4am today.

"Water supply will be distributed to consumers in stages when the repair works are completed and the main water supply distribution system has been stabilised.

"Water supply is expected to fully recover at 6am, 28 May.

"The duration of the water supply recovery period differs depending on the location of the consumer's premises and the water pressure at the distribution system," read the statement.

Checks on Air Selangor's app revealed that some areas have reached a 40% recovery status, while most areas have not made any progress as of 10.20am

However, it is expected that the water supply in all affected areas will fully recover by 6am tomorrow.

Air Selangor has urged consumers to stay informed about the repair works by using its app or visiting its social media channels on Facebook, Instagram, and X.
