Earlier in January, we told you about a list of athletes who had been shortlisted for the World Games' Greatest Athlete of All Time (GOAT) poll and Malaysia's squash queen Nicol Ann David was leading it

You made sure that the 37-year-old's lead was comfortably maintained. In fact, a check by SAYS showed that up until 19 January, she was the only one with six figures in her number of votes.

Nicol, who is the only Asian athlete in the list, is on the verge of winning the World Games' GOAT poll after having received 260,203 votes as of this writing, with the poll scheduled to end tomorrow

Nicol currently has over 140,000-vote advantage.

Her closest competitor is powerlifting athlete Larysa Soloviova from Ukraine with 120,185 votes, followed by Irish James Kehoe representing tug of war with 113,362 votes.
