Squash star Sivasangari Subramaniam has reached the top 10 of the women's Professional Squash Association (PSA) Tour World rankings

The 25-year-old is the first Malaysian since Nicol David and Low Wee Wern to break into the top 10 of the world rankings.

Following the World Championships in Cairo, Egypt, the athlete moved up one rung to her career-best ranking of world No. 10.

The athlete celebrated her exciting achievement on her social media

"This would be impossible without the support of my incredible team who has pushed me, encouraged me, and stayed by me through my highs and lows! More determined than ever to keep pushing and enjoy every step of the process," she wrote.

Sivasangari's career-best victory was achieved in April when she rose to world No. 13 after winning the 2024 London Squash Classics final.

Netizens flooded her comments section with congratulatory messages for the World No. 10, including Youth and Sports Minister Hannah Yeoh and squash queen herself, Nicol David
