BMW Malaysia has officially launched pre-booking for the BMW iX2 xDrive30 in the Malaysian market, introducing an exceptionally versatile All-Electric Sports Activity Coupé tailored for various scenarios
This innovative Premium Sport Activity Coupé showcases a range of contemporary, athletic design features that enhance the vehicle's elegant and dynamic appearance. Serving as the initial all-electric rendition of the BMW X2, the BMW iX2 xDrive30 introduces digital innovation with the implementation of an Android Open Source-based control system for the first time.

The iX2 xDrive30 features a dual-motor setup, delivering all-wheel-drive capability and generating a combined output of 313hp and 494Nm of torque. This robust powertrain enables the electric crossover to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h in just 5.6 seconds, with a top speed electronically capped at 180km/h.
With a 66.5kWh battery pack onboard, the iX2 xDrive30 offers an impressive range of up to 449km according to the WLTP cycle. Recharging the battery is convenient and efficient, with DC charging support of up to 130kW. This enables the battery to go from 10% to 80% state of charge in just 29 minutes. Additionally, AC charging at up to 11kW is supported, allowing for a full charge from 0% to 100% in approximately six hours and 30 minutes.

The BMW iX2 xDrive30 boasts a standard BMW Curved Display powered by the latest BMW Operating System 9. This cutting-edge system features the advanced BMW iDrive display and integrates the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant. For the first time, it incorporates a control system based on the Android Open Source Project, offering enhanced functionality and user experience.
The intuitive user interface includes a new home screen with a flat menu, providing quick access to frequently used functions through variably configurable live widgets. BMW Maps with extended functions facilitate relaxed navigation to destinations, while Proactive Care connects the driver to BMW services, ensuring proactive vehicle-related service management.
In terms of driver assistance, the iX2 xDrive30 comes equipped with standard Active Guard Basis, Driving Assistant Plus, and Parking Assistant Plus systems. Active Guard Basis provides warnings and interventions for lane departure, front collision, left turning, and speed limit violations, enhancing safety on the road.
Driving Assistant Plus utilises camera and radar-based technology to offer features such as Active Cruise Control, Steering and Lane Control Assistant, and Lane Departure Warning with active steering intervention. Meanwhile, Parking Assistant Plus utilises camera and ultrasound sensors for advanced parking assistance, including parking view and Remote 3D view.
Additionally, the Attentiveness Assistant monitors driver behavior and travel time to recommend breaks, ensuring optimal driver alertness and safety during journeys.

With the Easy Drive Financing Plan, starting from RM3,662 per month (based on a five-year plan with 100,000km mileage at 80% loan amount), customers can enjoy convenient instalment payments. Additionally, a RM4,000 Easy Drive Cash Rebate is available upon registration for Easy Drive Financing.
Alternatively, the Straight Line Financing Plan offers monthly instalments starting from RM3,331 (based on estimates of 80% loan amount on a seven-year tenure), providing another convenient financing option for prospective buyers.
