Grab has officially launched its GrabCar rental service in Kuala Lumpur, the first of its locations in Klang Valley
The service allows riders to rent a GrabCar from KLCC and its surrounding area, and visit as many locations in the Klang Valley as they wish within the rental duration, The Star reported.
The GrabCar rental service was run as a pilot test available only in select areas within Kota Kinabalu last month.
What makes the GrabCar rental service different from the standard GrabCar, you ask?
With the rental service, customers can make unlimited stops throughout their rental duration, with the rental fee inclusive of a driver and the cost of fuel.
However, the fare does exclude toll charges and parking.
The service is priced from RM480 for four hours, RM680 for six hours, and RM880 for eight hours
An additional charge of RM3 per minute will be incurred if users exceed the rental duration.
There is also a surcharge of RM50 for drop offs to Genting Highlands, KLIA, and KLIA2.
Here's how to order a GrabCar rental car:
The rental service is only available from 9am to 8pm daily.
Grab Malaysia also recently rolled out its on-demand delivery service, GrabExpress, to the whole of Klang Valley:
