Available in all Galaxy S23 models, it has a bypass-charging mode called 'Pause USB Power-Delivery'.

Essentially, 'bypass-charging' enables the phone to be directly powered by an adapter without charging its battery. As such, the phone's battery won't be overly-stressed when you're gaming.

It works by halting charging and sending power from the adapter straight to the phone's hardware, bypassing the charging and preventing it from overheating.

Do note that your phone needs to be plugged in to a charging adapter for this function to work.

Because heat distribution is better managed, performance is much more efficient!

You can access this by turning on 'Pause USB Power Delivery' from their 'Game Booster' settings.

The feature is exclusive to Galaxy S23 variants as of now, but will be rolling out to selected Samsung devices via a software update

According to Soyacincau, this includes the older Samsung Galaxy S22 series, Galaxy A73 5G, and the Galaxy Z Fold series.
