Chinese National Thinks Nasi Lemak Wrapped In Banana Leaf Is A Rice Dumpling. Whattt...?
The netizens' reactions are priceless!
A Chinese national has gone viral for mistaking a nasi lemak, partially wrapped in a banana leaf, for zongzi, a traditional Chinese sticky rice dumpling
In a Douyin video uploaded on Sunday, 22 December, the content creator, who has 21,000 followers, remarked that the 'zongzi' she bought looked different from the ones she was familiar with.
"It looks like this inside? It has an egg in here.
"There is also some chilli sauce. This is spicy," said the woman as she took a bite.
She added that there was chicken in the packet, nicknaming the dish "Malaysian rice dumpling".
