Public transport announcements aren't usually the kind of thing that make you stop mid-scroll

But leave it to Singapore's Transport Ministry (MOT) to flip the script with a promotional ad so brilliantly fun that it's winning the Internet.

To celebrate the opening of the new Punggol Coast MRT Station, Singapore's MOT released a TikTok video that's got everyone talking. It features three guys grooving to G-Dragon's hit song Power while showing off the station's new features.

In a stroke of marketing genius, the video highlights everything you need to know:

  • Energy-saving systems
  • 300 bicycle parking spots
  • Shorter travel times to the city

The K-pop-inspired clip has racked up over 140,000 plays and more than 100 comments, with fans requesting the ministry to use a K-pop song to promote every MRT station
