"Got Any Rubbish?" — Talking Trash Can At Hong Kong Disneyland Rolls Around Crying
Would find trash just to feed it.
Trash talk just got a whole lot cuter at Hong Kong Disneyland!
Meet Push the Talking Trash Can, the park's newest star.
This smart, sassy bin rolls around Hong Kong Disneyland chatting with visitors, begging for trash, and even throwing funny tantrums when ignored.
A video reposted by Instagram user @luckystarry_hung shows the bin surrounded by a group of amused visitors.
In the clip, the trash can approaches a visitor and dramatically pleads Cantonese, "Sister, do you have any garbage?"
She quickly obliges, tossing in a tissue, prompting the bin to cheerfully respond with a gleeful, "Yum yum yum!"
The Internet, of course, can't get enough of the melodramatic trash can
One person joked, "What's my ex doing in Hong Kong?", while others gushed over how cute and funny it is.
Push, the Talking Trash Can, isn't new to Disney fans, having roamed parks like Tomorrowland in Disneyland, Disney California Adventure, and Walt Disney World
The bin, named after the word on its flap, apparently had a hidden radio-controlled robot inside its steel liner and plastic trash bag. Two cast members operated it — one controlled its movements, while the other provided its voice.
The animatronic trash can reportedly retired in 2014 but made a surprise comeback in 2022 at The Odyssey at EPCOT.
Its appearance in Hong Kong Disneyland has been another delightful surprise for fans.
