Two women in Indonesia recently took to TikTok after finding a lizard in a dish they were eating
On 12 June, TikTok user @meiongg posted a short clip of her and another woman in front of some food and wrote, "Traumatised after eating pecel."
Pecel is an Indonesian dish that consists of deep-fried chicken or catfish, served with sambal, vegetables, and rice.
The clip went viral and garnered over 2.7 million views and 84,700 likes.

In the video, one woman can be seen holding a glass of water while another covers her face and shakes her head in disgust
The user noted that she had bought pecel ayam and expected extra vegetables.
Instead, she got an extra serving of cicak.
The food in the video also appears to have been eaten.

Netizens left a bunch of different comments, some joked about the situation while others were left horrified
