Changi Airport Reopens With 14 Metre-High 'Waterfall' & It's Even More Epic Than Before
Truly the jewel of Singapore.
After three and a half years of expansion and renovation efforts, Terminal 2 (T2) at Singapore's Changi Airport has fully reopened and it looks ridiculously good
Guided by a nature-inspired theme, the airport, also known as the 'Jewel of Singapore', now features a 14m-tall digital waterfall, dubbed The Wonderfall, nestled within a towering vertical garden.
Stepping into the departure hall, you'll find yourself captivated by the majestic waterfall cascading over massive boulders.

Within the departure transit area is a brand new garden, complete with a digital sky display that changes its hues depending on the time of day
Known as Dreamscape, this enchanting immersive garden is filled with lush foliage, tranquil water features, and glass pathways adorned with soft moss beneath your feet.
It's truly a sight to behold and a soothing space for anyone who has some time to spare while waiting for their flight.

Besides that, T2 is the first terminal in Changi to provide automated Special Assistance Lanes for persons with disabilities and young children
The immigration halls have also been expanded to accommodate additional automated immigration lanes, allowing the airport to serve more passengers at any time.
Meanwhile, the public areas of the terminal have a range of novel concepts, including Southeast Asia's first Funko Pop pop-up store.
Collectors can not only snag Singapore's exclusive Merlion figurine and other collectibles, but they can also strike a pose with gigantic Funko Pop statues of their favourite fictional characters.

In addition, the airport boasts a fantastic duplex café called Jones the Grocer, as well as the newly unveiled Lotte Duty Free Wines & Spirits

This two-story store not only offers an extensive selection of premium spirits, but also features a groundbreaking airport novelty: Toni, the robotic bartender.
Above the bar, a massive 30m-LED ring encircles the space, playing scenes of the moon reflected on a lake, as a tribute to the Tang dynasty poet Li Bai and his famous poem, Drinking Alone Under the Moon.
Visitors stepping into Lotte's luxurious lounge, known as the Forest of Li Bai, are in for a treat. They can sample a range of 18 whiskey choices from an impressive wall of dispensers, snap selfies with famous K-pop artistes in the smart selfie mirror, and admire the vivid hues dancing across the LED video ceiling.

Among other highlights include the F&B area draped with greenery, the iconic Hard Rock Cafe, a play area for kids, and Flap Pix — a mechanical information board embellished with 1,080 repurposed split-flaps for a cool photo-op
