Just a month after the release of Barbie (2023), which has since become the second highest-grossing movie of the year, many people are still embracing the beauty and style of the film on social media

Among them include Indonesian actress and singer Andien Aisyah, who recently showcased a series of beautiful images infusing Indonesian traditional garments and Barbie's signature colour, pink.

In a seven-second video uploaded to the singer's TikTok account, Aisyah displayed six different types of traditional garments. The various looks included a couple of kebayas, a kemben, which is a traditional Indonesian torso wrap, and a batik dress with a seledang, an Indonesian term for sash.

Plastered across the screen was a caption that read "Barbie Wastra", using the Indonesian word for garment or attire.

Check out the looks Aisyah modelled below:

Many people were impressed with Aisyah's outfits, with the TikTok garnering more than 400,000 views at the time of writing

"This edition of Barbie is so pretty!" wrote one user, while many others stated how they loved the outfits.

Another user even said they need the kebaya Aisyah was wearing in the video.

One user actively petitioned for Mattel to release more Barbie dolls in Southeast Asian traditional clothing.

"If Mattel sold these Barbies, they'd definitely sell out!" commented another user.
