The accident took place in the morning today, 16 June.
A Singaporean riding his high-powered BMW motorcycle was decapitated after crashing into a Toyota Hiace van in Johor
The accident took place between Jalan Gelang Patah - Ulu Choh near Iskandar Puteri about 9am today.
Iskandar Puteri Police chief Assistance Commissioner (ACP) Dzulkhairi Mukhtar told NST Online that the 43-year-old victim, identified as Liaw Ziang E, was on his way to Ulu Choh from Gelang Patah when he crashed into the van.

In the accident, the victim's decapitated body was flung onto to the middle of the road
An initial investigation found that the accident occurred when the van made a right turn just as when the victim was coming down from a straight road, slamming into the vehicle, ACP Dzulkhairi said in a statement today, 16 June.
“The high-speed impact of the collision resulted in the victim being decapitated and thrown onto the middle of the road,” he was quoted as saying by Bernama.
He added that the 28-year-old driver of the Toyota Hiace was not injured in the freak accident.
Police have arrested the van driver for further investigation
Meanwhile, ACP Dzulkhairi has urged those who witnessed the accident to come forward to assist the police in their investigation, adding that the accident took place on a two-lane road during the day with good weather.
The victim's remains were sent to Sultanah Aminah Hospital for post mortem
The case is currently being investigated under Section 41(1) of the Road Transport Act 1987 for causing death by reckless or dangerous driving.
