News of Marissa's marriage, who is also the daughter of celebrity couple Norman Hakim and Abby Abadi, has been circulating on social media and news portals since yesterday, 7 February

Aslam, a father of two who is currently still married to his first wife, Misya Mazlan, is said to have married Marissa while Misya was performing Umrah.

In September, Misya claimed that her husband was cheating on her with the social media influencer, causing Aslam and Marissa's relationship to go viral.

However, Aslam and Misya decided to reconcile during the iddah period.

The iddah is a prescribed period during which a woman must observe certain restrictions after the death of her husband or after a divorce. During this time, which varies according to circumstances and interpretations, she is not permitted to marry another man.
