According to a notice published this week, LRT3 stated that the lane closures will occur near the PETRONAS and Shell petrol stations in Shah Alam.

The lane closures will be carried out in three stages between 11pm and 5am.

"The diversions are implemented following the approval from Malaysian Public Works Department," the notice read

"We apologise for any inconvenience caused to the public and greatly appreciate your kind understanding and patience as we build LRT3 for the betterment of the future," it added.

For more information, the public can contact the LRT3 helpline at 1-800 18 2585 from Monday to Friday between 8.30am and 5.30pm.

The LRT3 project, running from Bandar Utama to Johan Setia in Klang, Selangor, is expected to begin operations on 1 March 2025, reported Malay Mail.

About two million people will benefit from the project.
