foodpanda Malaysia has rewarded 70 top performing riders with new motorcycles and cash prizes of over RM100,000 through its 'Bonus Akhir Tahun' incentive programme

This initiative underscores foodpanda's dedication to elevating job satisfaction, as well as fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence across its delivery partner network nationwide.
Spanning from 11 November to 31 December 2023, the 'Bonus Akhir Tahun' competition winners were awarded prizes, including:
- 14x Modenas Kriss 110 motorcycles
- Helmets for riders across Peninsular Malaysia
- Cash rewards amounting to
- RM2,500 for 14 riders
- RM2,000 for 13 riders
- RM1,500 for 29 riders
"Our riders are the backbone of foodpanda operations to ensure millions of Malaysians enjoy timely and reliable food and grocery deliveries," said Shubham Saran, Head of Logistics at foodpanda Malaysia

"The 'Bonus Akhir Tahun' initiative reflects our ongoing efforts to acknowledge and reward our dedicated partners. Our award ceremony also comes just in time as we approach the Ramadan season, traditionally a time for gratitude and giving back," he shared.
In order to qualify for participation in the competition, riders were required to fulfil several criteria:
- Complete a minimum of 800 orders during the bonus period
- Maintain a 90% order acceptance rate
- Retain a maximum of three no-shows
- Be active throughout the bonus period
- Zero involvement in fraudulent activities and compliance system
First prize winner Abdul Rahman bin Dollah from Pahang was shocked and elated to take the top spot
"When I first learned about this competition, I was determined to win and set my sights on getting the second prize. To my astonishment, I clinched the top position and won the Modenas motorbike, which surpassed all my expectations," said Abdul Rahman.
"This milestone marks a high point in my three-year career journey with foodpanda, reaffirming my belief that hard work can yield rewarding results. Looking back, I'm grateful for the times I told myself not to give up and consistently challenged myself to deliver a certain amount of orders daily," the top rider shared.

Meanwhile, another winner, Ahmad Nasri bin Roseli from Klang Valley, also expressed his happiness, "Being recognised as one of the high achievers in the 'Bonus Akhir Tahun' competition is surreal. I am blessed that my hard work of surpassing the number of deliveries I set for myself daily throughout the competition period has finally paid off. As foodpanda has been a big part of my life these past few years, winning this makes celebrating my foodpanda anniversary extra special and meaningful."
