Massive Python Sssslithers On Moving Axia, Leaving Driver Stunned
A netizen joked that the serpent was hitching a ride home to get ready for the Year of the Snake.
A large python was spotted slithering on a moving Perodua Axia on Kuala Lumpur's Middle Ring Road 2 (MRR2) last Saturday, 4 January, catching the attention of motorists
The incident was caught on camera by Threads user @tigrechef, who posted three videos showing the python moving across the vehicle.
The first video shows the python trying to reach the ground but retreated back to the Axia, seemingly afraid of falling and getting injured on the road.
Another clip captures the snake attempting to escape from the Axia's windscreen, while the last clip shows it wrapping its tail on a door handle and extending its head towards a roadside bush.

Speaking to SAYS, @tigrechef mentioned that the incident occurred around 6.40pm
He followed the Axia for about five minutes before making a turn to head to his destination.
"I don't know what happened in the end.
"I tried to tell the driver [about the python]. He finally slowed down. It seemed like he was aware [of the python] but didn't know what to do," @tigrechef said when contacted.

At the time of writing, the thread has garnered over 1,000 shares
One netizen said they would have driven straight to the fire and rescue department and asked for help.
Another Threads user said, "Pity the snake. Imagine it just wanted to go somewhere nearby but instead got taken for a long ride."

Meanwhile, many netizens joked about the unusual sight.
"Plot twist: The snake is the actual owner of the Axia. Its car was hijacked," one person said in jest.
"Considering it's the Year of the Snake, this sneaky hitchhiker is catching a free ride home to celebrate CNY in style. Safe travels, snek!" quipped another netizen.
