MUDA candidate Melanie Ting has failed to secure at least 10% of the total votes in the Bukit Antarabangsa state assembly seat, causing her to lose her deposit

According to Myundi, the seat was won by Pakatan Harapan (PH) candidate Kamri Kamaruddin, who received 30,772 votes, or 65.9% of the total votes.

Perikatan Nasional (PN) candidate Sasha Lyna received 14,492 votes, or 31% of the total votes.

However, Ting only garnered 1,462 votes, or 3.1% of the total votes. During the campaign period, the 23-year-old fresh law graduate gained a lot of traction for being the youngest candidate for the state elections, reported Bernama.

The Election Commission's (EC) official website stated that Bukit Antarabangsa has 69,501 eligible voters, which brings today's total turnout rate in the area to 67.2%.
