UMNO And PAS No Longer Support Tun M Because They Refuse To Work With DAP

They are now asking for a snap election.

After fervently supporting Tun Dr Mahathir as the country's leader for months, in an abrupt move, UMNO and PAS have retracted their support for the interim Prime Minister

According to a live report by Malaysiakini, UMNO and PAS said Dr Mahathir wanted a government that is based on individuals - not along party lines.

UMNO secretary-general Annuar Musa said the current interim Prime Minister plans to continue working with DAP, something which is against the conditional support UMNO and PAS have given to Dr Mahathir.

"As such, the support we gave to Dr Mahathir to form a coalition without DAP, we are forced to take it back," said Annuar
