It looks like foldable devices are all the rage. The latest tech giant rumoured to have hopped on the bandwagon is Apple — it may release a foldable iPhone and iPad/Mac in 2026

According to 9to5Mac, citing analyst Jeff Pu, the tech giant has inked a supply contract for its first foldable iPhone.

Similar to the Samsung Galaxy Flip, Apple's rumoured foldable iPhone will feature a top-down fold design.

Apart from the foldable iPhone, Apple is also rumoured to be working on an iPad/Mac hybrid device.

According to Pu's research report, Apple's foldable iPad/Mac will feature an 18.8-inch display when it's unfolded

Pu reveals that the iPad/MacBook hybrid will be the first to be released.

It's rumoured to be released in the second quarter of 2026. Meanwhile, the foldable iPhone may be released towards the tail end of the same year.

The research report doesn't reveal any other additional details on both devices.

That said, this is still a rumour as Apple hasn't announced any official details on both devices yet

A lot can happen between now and 2026.

However, should these rumours hold water, 2026 might be a radical year for Apple as it attempts to rival Samsung's foldable aesthetics and designs.
