The two-minute 11-second video blends historical intrigue with a touch of satire.

According to the South China Morning Post, the clip was created by a Bilibili user known as "Dark Tone".

The AI-generated video reimagines Musk as the head of a government efficiency agency armed with martial arts skills in the midst of political power struggles.  

In this alternate reality, Musk leads the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), an agency purportedly established to slash bureaucracy and enforce reforms, with his kung fu skills symbolising swift and decisive action.  

The original movie, renowned as mainland China's first 3D martial arts film, centres on secret service agencies from the Ming dynasty – the Eastern and Western Depots – infamous for their surveillance and brutal suppression tactics.

The AI clip retains the intense political backdrop but adds a modern twist.  

When challenged, he shatters a teacup hurled at him and overturns a chair, delivering the line: "Let me show you what DOGE is: we cut budgets others won't and fire those others can't." 

Although Musk hasn't addressed the video, it has ignited online debate. Some viewers highlighted its satirical resonance with modern governance, while others marvelled at how seamlessly the AI character fit the narrative of power struggles.  

The clip was removed from Bilibili due to copyright issues, but its English version thrives on platforms like YouTube and X, continuing to amuse and provoke commentary worldwide.
