The Lamborghini Lanzador has been making headlines as the Italian car maker's latest concept car, which is unique from the rest of the Raging Bull's fleet. Unlike its angry, roaring V8 and V12 cousins, the Lanzador is an electric supercar.
In line with the brand's Direzione Cor Tauri strategy, the Lanzador marks a significant step towards decarbonisation and electrification

Direzione Cor Tauri, which is Latin for 'the heart of the Bull' and incidentally, the brightest star in the Taurus constellation, represents Lamborghini's strategy that illustrates the brand's direction towards an electrified future while capturing and maintaining the heart and the soul of the brand.
The Lanzador features a two-plus-two Gran Turismo body style, which embodies the essence of an authentic Raging Bull dating back to the original 400GT in 1966. A two-plus-two layout means that the car accommodates seats for the driver and the front passenger, along with two additional rear seats. This differs slightly from a coupé, which adheres to the standard seat layout.
Automobili Lamborghini chairman and chief executive officer Stephan Winkelmann said he is thrilled to present the new era of Lamborghini vehicles.
"With this concept, we are ushering in a new car segment, the Ultra GT, which is poised to offer customers a new and unparalleled driving experience, one that's quintessentially Lamborghini, thanks to groundbreaking technologies," he said.

The supercar can produce a peak power of more than one megawatt
The Lanzador is powered by dual electric motors, one on each axle, providing all-wheel drive and efficiency across diverse driving conditions, surfaces, and styles. It boasts a peak power that surpasses one megawatt.
The driver can independently adjust the control systems while driving using the controls on the steering wheel. This capability empowers drivers to modify the car's behaviour and craft a personalised profile for their driving preferences, culminating in unique driving experiences.
The newest iteration of the driving dynamics control system, Lamborghini Dinamica Veicolo Integrata (LDVI), sets a fresh benchmark for both concept and future production cars from the Italian brand. This system offers drivers extensive customisation options, allowing them to fine-tune active control systems to suit their driving needs.

Sant'Agata Bolognese's electric Bull also comes with plenty of tech

The active aerodynamics maximise downforce during spirited driving to keep the Lanzador firmly planted while unleashing its vicious 1,341 horsepower. The system also adapts during daily cruising to optimise its projected range of 480 kilometres.
Equipped with steerable rear axles, the Lanzador can navigate tight turns effortlessly despite its substantial size. The combination of independent wheel control and the highly-responsive air suspension enables the Lanzador to adjust to various surfaces irrespective of available traction.
The interior is something you would see in a sci-fi movie

Embracing Lamborghini's "Feel Like A Pilot" approach, the vehicle's cockpit is oriented towards the driver, with the instruments cluster and inputs centred around them. Both front seats are ergonomically designed, securely enveloping the driver and passenger, especially during exhilarating moments of unleashing the car's full potential.
The interior incorporates sustainable materials, including merino wool, regenerated carbon fibre, and recycled fibre.
With that being said, the futuristic interior is a dream to experience.

The Lanzador is Lamborghini's embodiment of the Direzione Cor Tauri ethos
The Lanzador is expected to arrive in 2028 as the fourth model in the automaker's SUV lineup and the brand's first EV. The final version of the Lanzador will be manufactured close to the company's main location in Sant'Agata Bolognese. The carmaker intends to recruit more staff to assist with the development and production of the electric vehicle.
