Claudia Tan has achieved what many can only dream of. After her novel, titled Perfect Addiction, was adapted into a Hollywood movie this year, she has now caught the attention of a very, very popular celebrity.
BTS member, Jung Kook, played the Malaysian artiste's latest song in the background during one of his live sessions on Weverse, an app where artistes can communicate with their fans.
Jung Kook, who often plays random songs during his live sessions, was seen vibing to Tan's Your Gentleman on 4 March in front of millions of viewers. The video on Weverse has since racked up over 21 million views.

The South Korean artiste, who has 22 million followers on the joint BTS Weverse account, was seen putting on his jacket while wiggling and bopping around to her music.
The unexpected moment, which had Tan squealing for joy, sent her Spotify streams through the roof
Prior to Jung Kook listening to it, Your Gentleman achieved 32,600 streams, and right after he played it, her song shot up to over 761,000 plays.
She shared the moment below:
Malaysians were overjoyed, sharing in the excitement with Tan while expressing how proud they are.
Tan first made headlines when she wrote a novel which was turned into a recent Hollywood movie
After winning the People's Choice Award at the 2015 Wattys, Tan caught the attention of Wattpad Studios, which decided to adapt her book into a movie.
Perfect Addiction (2023) stars 13 Reasons Why actor Ross Butler and is an Amazon original on Prime Video, directed by Castille Landon.
