In an interview where the contestants introduced themselves, the drag queen explained that her mother owns a daycare centre and there was a girl named 'Malaysia' who attended. Adoring the name, she decided to incorporate it into her stage name.
"I thought it was the most fabulous name. And because I'm fabulous, I deserve a name like that," the contestant said.
As for the rest of her name, the name Babydoll comes from her love of playing with baby dolls ever since she was little. Malaysia also added Foxx to her name because she describes herself as a 'foxy' lady.
A drag name is an on-stage moniker that a drag queen uses when performing. A drag queen's name is usually inspired by a character that they want to portray or how they describe themselves.
For clarification, Malaysia is not from the country of Malaysia and hails from the sunny city of Miami, Florida, in the US
