Photos of the Civil Defence Force (APM) rescuing a stray dog that got tangled in a futsal court net have gone viral, with Malaysians unable to get over the dog's adorably guilty expression
According to viral social media posts, the stray had somehow wandered onto the futsal court before getting itself hopelessly caught in the netting, leaving it unable to free itself.
APM personnel were then called in to rescue the furry troublemaker.
The incident is said to have taken place in Debak, Sarawak, on 25 June.
Photos of the dog's face while waiting to be rescued have quickly sparked amused and heartwarming reactions from Malaysians online
Curled up in the net with wide, apologetic eyes, many said it looked like a child that had been caught doing something they weren't supposed to do.
"His sad eyes say it all. Thank you to the kind people who saved him," one netizen commented.
"Thank you so much, APM, for rescuing the furkid," wrote another.
"Aww, poor baby," another said.
